Terms of Tuition
Payment Schedule
Tuition fees are payable monthly in advance. Depending on the month, there may be four or five lessons. After the initial payment, subsequent payments are due on the last lesson of each month for the upcoming month.
Missed Lessons
If a lesson is missed for any reason, the fee for that lesson is forfeited. In rare cases and subject to weekday availability, a makeup lesson may be offered within the same week as the missed lesson. To maintain your lesson slot during any period of absence, full payment is required. If a lesson is missed due to my fault, a credit for that lesson will be applied to the following month. Termination of lessons requires a notice period of one full calendar month.
Commitment and Practice
Regular practice is crucial for progress in learning the guitar. It is expected that students will dedicate time outside of lessons to practice the material covered. Initially, I recommend practicing for one hour each day. This practice time should increase as your skills and repertoire grow to ensure continuous improvement.
Consistent practice helps reinforce techniques learned during lessons, develop muscle memory, and build a deeper understanding of musical concepts. Students should aim to create a practice schedule that fits their daily routine and stick to it diligently.
Effective practice involves focusing on specific areas that need improvement, such as difficult passages, technical exercises, or new pieces. I encourage students to approach their practice with clear goals and a positive attitude, as this will enhance the learning experience and lead to greater musical achievements.
I am committed to supporting each student's journey and look forward to helping you make your guitar come alive with music.
